Drawing inspiration from African history, Ghanaian artist Jonathan Amartey creates this striking wall sculpture. Made of fiberglass given a textured, rustic finish, the face of an African royal is depicted, wearing a headdress and necklace. An accent of cotton kente cloth with stripes of green, yellow, and brown decorates the bottom of this wall sculpture.
Each kente accent is cut from a larger piece of cloth, so the pattern will vary slightly.
