This beautiful mask by Victor Yao Delanyo is named Miase, or "Let us speak," in the Ewe language. "It depicts a linguist who carries the message of the chief to his people," Delanyo explains. He sculpts it of sese wood.

"Very nice workmanship"
Purchased the set of masks to give as a gift to add to collection of masks I started for family member during a trip to South Africa. Family member was quite happy. Will likely be used as Christmas ornaments.

"Hanging on Our Wall"

"Amazing"
I have purchased five different groups of mask decorations from different African artists and this is undoubtedly my favorite group. They are so handsome and well done. I love the use of metal on two of them and they are all painted beautifully. Many Thanks to Victor and Novica! I definitely recommend Victors work - you wont be disappointed.
