Details

For this necklace, Robert Aidoo-Taylor designs the stylized face of an elephant with its long ears and without the trunk. Known as oson in Akan, the black and red elephant head is flanked by brown beads. Aidoo-Taylor carves the sese wood pendant by hand with experienced mastery and sets it on a black cord necklace that can be worn at the desired length through a sliding knot.
