Named after the beautiful Banda region of Indonesia, this backpack is designed by Balinese artisan Anita Jo. The black cotton backpack features beautiful saffron and teal hand embroidery that creates triangular, swirl, and zigzag patterns in the traditional style of the Banda Aceh province, which was hit by a devastating tsunami in 2004. This bag drapes over the shoulder on two adjustable straps or can be held by its handle. A zipper pocket on the back offers space for storing odds and ends. This backpack's main interior opens with a zipper to reveal a black lining.
