"By depicting a female angel resting on rocks I wanted to give the viewer the freedom to experience the sensations evoked by the painting such as passion, tenderness, sadness, pain, and happiness through the divine representation of woman," explains Juan Sandoval. He combines walnut stain and pencil with oil and acrylic paints to successfully achieve a mystical ambience.
