"Beautiful scene on purse"

I ordered this makeup bag for a little niece to use as a little purse because the scene on the little bag is so very darling. It is done very well and I really like it showing the two little girls, the lamb, the mountains, etc. The colors are so bright and vivid. Thank you so much for your excellent workmanship.

"Absolutely Beautiful!"

Balvinas workmanship is detailed and so colourfully delightful! My grandchildren loved looking all around every inch of this Christmas tree skirt and as we looked we could tell the story of Christmas! Even a Santa flying over Bethlehem in the sky - just for extra fun. It is worth every penny. Thank you for your joyful artistry!!

"Beautiful"

This coin purse is very lovely. Its colors are so vibrant and pretty. Its very well made. I liked it so much I bought two; a purple one and turquoise one. Theyre very lightweight so they dont weigh down my purse which is a plus. Would highly recommend.

Balvina works with two Peruvian art forms to create her highly-graphic colorful decor and fashion accessories. Growing-up in Ayacucho, she learned the traditional embroidery style of that region from her mother and grandmother. During the Peruvian reign of terror, her family fled to the mountains around Lima where she learned arpillería, the traditional Andean form of applique. Balvina often incorporates both embroidery and applique into her work, creating unique contemporary designs with traditional techniques.
