Crafted from copper and bronze, this decorative vase is designed by Ana Maria Enciso, drawing inspiration from the rich cultural history of Peru. It depicts a female figure with a green oxidized body and gold colored accents in the style of Chancay imagery. The Chancay people were a pre-Incan civilization that worked with human forms and vases.
Ana Maria Enciso has received 7 microcredit loans with 0% interest from Kiva and Novica, the first for $850 and the most recent for $600. Proceeds were used to buy copper and bronze to continue crafting her designs.
