Inspired by the beauty of spring, Mexican artisan Irene Ruiz designs this area rug, which she crafts in the traditional style of Zapotec textiles. Woven entirely on a hand loom, this wool rug features interlocking zigzag patterns that are created with yarns of aubergine, magenta, blue-violet, and iris. Different combinations of the various colors result in the stunning complexity of this rug. Fringes dangle from the ends.
