Delivery EstimateInspired by the traditional janger dancers of Indonesia, Balinese artisan Buana designs a strikingly beautiful pair of dangle earrings. The faces of the dancers are carved by hand of bone, framed by handcrafted sterling silver headdresses with intricate wire and dot motifs, crowned by petite jepun, or frangipani flowers. Cultured pearl earrings dangle, and faceted citrine gems are displayed at the bottom.

Jepun Janger, dangle earrings are large, but executed with finesse. Silver work and small cultured pearls add to the beauty of the design. The citrine has not much color or sparkle, but does not take away from the striking appearance of the earrings. Happy with purchase.

Buana is a master silversmith. He designs and crafts his jewelry collection using a combination of traditional and modern jewelry making techniques. Buana and his silversmiths share their knowledge and train younger artisans that join the workshop.
Microcredit Financing
Buana has received 14 microcredit loans with 0% interest from Kiva and Novica, the first for $2400 and the most recent for $7000. Proceeds were used to invest in a purchase of natural gemstones and silver for his jewelry.
Caring for Children
When Buana first began to work, he was fearful that he would be unable to care for his first child. Now he proudly cares for two.
