Indian artisan Uma Tripathi creates this comfortable gossamer-light shawl of cotton and silk blend fibers. A solid color of robin's egg is decorated with floral chikan embroidery in baby blue. Chikan is a traditional method believed to have been inspired by Persian techniques, involving a process where the fabric is first block printed and then embroidered with designs.
