Costa Rica's Christian Vasquez uses discarded wood he obtains from large companies to craft this striking desk accessory. The pen holder, hand carved from cedar wood, mimics the design of a spinning top, with a wood ring at its base to give it a sense of motion. Vasquez then uses reclaimed mahogany wood to craft a pen that fits into the side of the stand. Both pieces features a rich hand-applied stain and lacquer finish, and the set comes with two Bic ball-point ink refills.
