Brown Leather Floral Hand Stamped and Painted Sling, "Lattice Garden"

Javanese artisan Farida Ridwan handcrafts this beautiful brown leather sling with contrast stitching done by hand. The exterior of the bag is hand stamped and painted with a lattice and floral motif in black. The interior is lined with brown polyester suede with two open pockets set into the lining. The shoulder bag's fold-over flap secures the main compartment with a magnetic snap.

The shoulder bag is made of vegetable-tanned leather, for which the artisan offers special care suggestions. Avoid contact with water, as vegetable-tanned leather is less water resistant than other leathers. If cleaning with a damp cloth is needed, take care that it is only slightly damp. Do not use brushes or polishes intended for shoe care, as they are not suitable for vegetable-tanned leather. Prior to using weather-proofing or conditioning creams on the shoulder bag, test first on an inconspicuous area.
