Inspired by practicing ballet for many years, the artworks of Emne Al-Haje in Brazil recreate the human form in lithe and fluid lines. This playful original bronze sculpture is named Bambolê, which means "hula hoop" in Portuguese. "The plastic hoop that girls revolve around their body has been replaced by the arms of the dancer, which wrap around her legs," says the artist of her inspiration. The graceful sculpture is presented on a granite base.
