Setting out on foot in the cool morning, a man, women and two children head for the fields. They work day after day cultivating the fertile earth. The children ride a draft horse and two dogs guard them along the way as they carry their tools, a jar of water and a basket with their lunch. Artist J. Borges finds inspiration for this colorful woodcut print in the rural areas of his native northeastern Brazil.
