"This is one of my favorite dresses"
This dress is amazing! I love the quality of the material and its pod keys are very deep. It does run large though so I would recommend the next size down.

"Lovely Summertime Dress with Pockets"
I love this dress and just know I will be wearing this often when the weather gets warmer. The fit is roomy and the pockets are so convenient. Only issue was the poor way it was packed. I had to request a 2nd dress to be sent as the flimsy cardboard disintegrated and the 1st dress fell out. The 2nd dress arrived and it was just luck that it was still in the box which had worn out in shipping due to the thin cardboard. Was pleased that it was easy to report the 1st dress was missing and the 2nd was sent without delay.

"Such a lovely color! Reminds me of tropical sea."
I actually bought two of this style dress in different colors. Beautiful batik material. Loose and comfortably cool to wear in hot sticky weather. Well made and pockets too! I have a large bust and it is hard to find a good fit. This works for me and the coverage i.e. modest. Please consider other color in this style.A very nice shopping experience. Recommend it!

"These brightly colored flags decorate my newly built deck!"
I love these flags! They are brightly colored and show detailed chakra symbols. When the breeze is not waving them around I like looking at the various mandalas.

For eleven years Desak worked with a batik artisan learning all aspects of the process, from wax painting to dyeing. From her, she learned not only the art of batik and textile design but also how to care for her workers. In her workshop, Desak and the older artisans generously teach their art to the younger artisans, preserving for another generation this UNESCO cultural treasure.

Desak Nyoman Parwati has received 3 microcredit loans with 0% interest from Kiva and Novica, the first for $2800 and the most recent for $4000. Proceeds were used to invest in the purchase of textiles and batik dyes to increase production in time for the holiday season.
