Sunbursts blaze on the cheeks of an enigmatic personage. Considered the father of the Huichol people, the sun is accompanied by six-sided jicuri (peyote) buds. Higinio Hernández creates a mesmerizing beadwork mask. A corn plant forms the nose and rrurabe, the guardian star, graces the chin.
