Ghana's Rachel Armah preserves the jewelry traditions of the Akyem people with the design of this beaded bracelet to foster Nkabom biako ye. Meaning "Unity" in Akan, the bracelet is crafted by hand with bauxite, believed by the Akyem people to have healing energies.
