Batik Cotton Wallet in Strawberry and Mahogany from India, "Autumn Chevron"

Creating chevron motifs, in strawberry and maroon, this cotton wallet is designed by Indian duo Krishna and Sharda. Local artisans decorate this wallet using the batik method, where a wax resist is block-printed onto the fabric before it is treated with the dyes. The wallet can be held by hand or via a wrist strap with a tassel. It opens with a zipper to a cotton-lined interior in taupe that is divided into two compartments; a zipper pocket in the middle offers space for storing small items, while six slots store bank cards.
