Delivery EstimateMajestic burnt sienna dragons glide through a light olive green sky in this stunning hand-painted batik scarf from Dayu Menuhari. Batik is a wax-resist dyeing technique; Dayu takes a 100% silk scarf and applies the amazingly intricate pattern by hand using a canting, a traditional tool which dispenses thin lines of melted wax. The world serpent present in traditional Javanese mythology serves as the principal inspiration for the captivating accessory's dragon and flower motif. The elaborate design and dyeing process takes the Balinese artisan months to complete.
