Evoking the beauty of the lovely Rioja wine region of Spain, this wrap scarf features striped patterns in colors of paprika and carrot. In an effort to "rescue ancient Inca weaving techniques," Peruvian duo Raquel and Gregor hand-weave the scarf of alpaca blend yarns on the artisanal loom. This accessory adds a sunny appeal to your wardrobe, completed at the ends with dainty fringes.

"Buyer Beware!!"
I ordered this item and received it today. It is NOT 70% Alpaca and 30% Silk. According to the tag on the item I received It is 40% alpaca, 25% cotton, 25% modal and 10% nylon. I would have been happy if it was at least 70% Alpaca, but less than half of it is made of Alapca. I had reservations about ordering from this site for the first time and should have followed my instincts. It is extremely disappointing to spend so much money on one thing and get something else that is not equivalent to what I thought I was purchasing. This is false marketing. Do not be deceived!

"My mother loved this shawl !"
My mother loved this shawl. I thought it was very elegant, and nice for a chilly night out. She lives in Florida, where normally its warm, but at night it can get a bit chilly. Whats nice is you can take it off if you get warm and stick it in your handbag. I like the fact that its made from alpaca wool, which is a rarer wool. Also, the color is very pretty and neutral; it pretty much goes with everything.
