A young mother literally balances the dual responsibilities of work and parenting in this original sculpture from Ghana's Victoria Agyepomaa. The sculpture depicts a woman in typical Ghanaian attire, holding her baby in the crook of one arm while balancing a pot on her head with the other. The artisan uses colorful paint to highlight the woman's clothing and the pot. Medo meba means "I love my child" in the Akan language.
