Details

This intriguing wood pedestal and lidded bowl are created by Ghanaian artisan Victoria Agyepomaa. The interlocking pedestal, reminiscent of a puzzle, is carved from a single piece of sese wood. The base supports a decorative lidded vessel which is also carved by hand; and the entire ensemble receives a distressed off-white finish. The artisan names her original design Aware Kabon, meaning "marry with unity" in the Fante dialect.

Thank you for the lovely bowl. I love the gyae nyame sign. Only wish the bowl came in cream and black to match my decor, however i am still going to keep it because it is unique and the quality is very good.
