Inspired by African culture and traditional masks, Ghanaian artisan Eric Nyarkoh creates this relief panel. An face is hand-carved from sese wood, its eyes and cheeks forming the abstract depiction of Sankofa, an Adinkra symbol that symbolizes the importance of learning from the past.
