Adinkra Symbol Leather Photo Frame from Ghana (5x7), "Gleaming Adinkra"

Gleaming brightly in a gold tone, four traditional Adinkra symbols in brass decorate the corners of this photo frame from Ghana. Kamal Mohammed creates the frame, which is handcrafted from patterned black leather over sese wood. At the top left and right corners, the symbols featured are Gye Nyame, signifying the supremacy of God, and a spiral motif that represents loyalty. The bottom left and right corners feature the Adinkra symbols Akofena, representing courage, and Nyame Biribi Wo Soro, signifying hope.
