World Peace Project Abstract Sculpture from Brazil, "No One Lets Go"

Inspired by Brazilian unity, Anamaria Vieira creates this fine art sculpture named "No One Lets Go," or Ninguém Solta a Mão de Ninguém in Portuguese. "The sculpture symbolizes the desired and possible bond between the first, second and third worlds. Despite the religious, cultural and socioeconomic differences between peoples, this sculpture symbolizes a certain tendency to dissipate ties, but even so, it maintains a desire to maintain the ties necessary for peaceful coexistence between countries, that is, a bet on world peace.

"The sculpture represents a bond endowed with some tension, but harmonious, symbolizing the interconnection of nations in terms of their different political, social and cultural dimensions, thus expressing the desire to sustain world peace," says Vieira. she crafts this sculpture from resin, depicting three abstract figures whose arms blend into one another. This sculpture is displayed atop a base of black resin.
