Very fine workmanship and finish to this piece. Glows much better in person; much better than photo. Nice presence, just the right size.
Love this piece!
I have owned this for a few years now and burned many a tea light inside. Beautiful and striking in person. Very solid beautiful dark ceramic. Casts lovely shadows.

Adorable - One for me and one to share!!!
These are the cutest incense holders Ive seen. I had trouble deciding between the blue and the green--both are beautiful! The soft shade of green, like the color of celery, and the high gloss finish give them an understated elegance combined with a bit of whimsy. The small hole in the center of the lotus goes all the way down to the bottom of the sculpture, which really stabilizes the incense stick and prevents it from falling out. The lotus holders could be alternatively used to hold a sphere-shaped mineral specimen, if incense isnt your thing!
"I learned to craft ceramics from skilled artisans who taught me to how to select and work with clay, to prepare the glaze and to select the firing temperature. Finally, I was ready to complete a piece."

Artisan Crafted Black Pottery Tealight Candle Holder, "Glowing Owl"$39.99
The soft light of a tealight candle is set to illuminate the gorgeous handcrafted artistry of this handsome owl. Its wings detailed with precise openwork, the owl candleholder is crafted by hand by Anakarem. She works with Oaxaca's unique black pottery techniques which, include using a quartz or an obsidian to polish the candleholder to achieve a matte sheen even after firing in an oak wood fueled kiln.
In case of ash residues from being fired in a wood kiln, please wipe with a dry cloth.
Elephant and Lotus Ceramic Incense Holders from Thailand (2), "Lotus Elephant"$19.99
Charonensri, a Thai artisan, presents this set of two ceramic incense holders. Formed in the shape of a regal elephant carrying a lotus flower on its back, each ceramic figurine features precise details and a glossy finish. These pale green incense holders feature the characteristic crackled finish that celadon is known for and will hold either cone or stick incense.
Hand-carved Wood Tealight Candleholders (pair), "Light of Yin Yang"$25.99
The soft glow of tealights in Yin and Yang candleholders shed light on the interconnectedness between positive and negative energies. Carved of mango wood in contrasting shades, the candleholders are crafted by Thailand's Saifon. Two tealights are included.
Sun and Moon Steel Wall Sconce Candleholder, "Aztec Eclipse"$74.99
The blue moon tempers his ardor as the sun declares his love. Depicting a cosmic eclipse, J. Blas designs a colorful wall sculpture to hold a candle. Solar rays suggest the feathered headdresses of Aztec royalty. Themes of duality – good and bad, light and dark, sun and moon – appear throughout ancient Mexican thought.
