I make my own rolled paper earrings but I just couldnt pass these up. They are larger than you think. Great with jeans.
I love the fact that these are recycled CDs and that they are being used in such a beneficial way instead of going to a landfill. I love the compliments I receive and I love to brag on Novica.
It will be an heirloom in time
These earrings are spectacular. Ordered them for a gift but they are already hanging in my jewelry box. The color I received were a bit darker than shown here but still lovely. Try them and you will not see them on someone else.

Colorful Recycled CD Dangle Earrings from Guatemala, "Celebrate Creativity"$49.99

Wood Beaded Earrings on Brass Hooks from Ghana, "Desert Bird"$17.99
Elizabeth Alorchie-Apetor selects warm earth tones for the design of this stunning pair of earrings. She crafts the earrings by hand with sese wood beads. The larger beads are painted with natural dyes evoking the shape of a bird's beak. Thin black beads of recycled plastic separate the wood beads. The earrings are worn on brass hooks.
Yellow Turquoise and Purple Recycled CD Dangle Earrings, "Color Explosion"$49.99
Artisan Rosario Leiva of Guatemala brings new life to recycled CDs in these beautiful and fascinating dangle earrings with sterling silver hooks. She melts the CD scrap in a mold, then artfully applies droplets of acrylic to achieve her desired colors--purple, turquoise, and yellow for this pair of earrings--and then fuses the CD material and acrylic together using a blow torch. The resulting effect is magnificent translucent color punctuated with air bubbles that create unique patterns.
About her work, the artisan says: "I love creating jewelry with materials that most people would discard. Let's all take the time to think about the endless opportunities we have to give 'waste' materials another chance."
