I just love these journals. I bought them for graduation gifts and kept one for myself. They are beautifully made--inside and out. They are delicate and sophisticated, also very light weight for travel. The handmade paper is great for writing or drawing.
The jar's intricate carving is flawless, and the subtle pastel-colored highlights of the soapstone add to its grace even more. Perfectly sized to be practical without sacrificing elegance, it's a beautiful addition to the home.
I likely did not read the description as well as I could, so I was surprised at the size of these, much larger than I thought. The quality of workmanship is excellent, but because the tops seem less rigid than on a smaller one that I have, they might not be as handy. One the whole, a good buy.
